Rodger grew up in Columbus, Indiana. In 1969, he was drafted into the Marine Corps where he served 22 years. After purchasing his first house in 1980, he totally fell in love with the home buying experience and earned is Real Estate License. In 1988, he joined the staff at Central Texas College and taught a variety of Real Estate courses to include marketing, math, appraising, property management and basic concepts.
His passion for teaching started here. After moving to North Carolina in 1989, Rodger earned his NC Real Estate license and has actively practiced since that time; however he longed to get back into the classroom. In 2000, he became a licensed Instructor. After teaching for a local real estate school for about three years, he opened his own. Since 2000 Rodger has owned and operated two different real estate schools. As a licensed agent for 38 years, his most gratifying endeavor is teaching at his school, American Real Estate Academy. His passion is launching others to their maximum potential and marketing homes for sale! American Real Estate Academy offers Pre-License, Post-License, Continuing Education, and Special Training Course’s for new agents. American Real Estate Academy is a real estate institution pledged to the success of our students being eligible to received their North Carolina Brokers License.
Born and raised in New York, Karen Eldred has been a resident of Jacksonville for approximately 15 years. Karen has completed countless hours engaged in marketing, sales and buyer representation. She believes education is paramount and therefore has acquired multiple designations in short sales and buyer representation. However, it is her communication skill-set that has built her business one satisfied client at a time. Karen says her business philosophy is to provide world-class professional service to her clients. To do that she listens! “What is important to my client; is important to me!”
